File this one away under “I wish I would have thought of that” – Wolfram Hahn photographs kids watching TV. It’s fascinating and disturbing all at the same time. (link via conscientious)
I *heart* hot dogs Comments Off
I can’t deny it. I like eating hot dogs. For a long while I just ate them normal, you know, with ketchup and mustard. Lately I’ve been trying to go gourmet. Usually this happens on Sunday.
I boil up some Hebrew National hot dogs, then I sear them in a hot pan. After that I try to create a combination of toppings to please my pallet. So today one hot dog had lettuce, onion, tomato, bacon bits and blue cheese dressing. I topped it off with some sea salt. My second hot dog had mustard, sweet Hungarian pepper relish, banana peppers, onions, tomatoes and celery salt.
Delicious!

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be not forever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
Grief not, rather find,
Strength in what remains behind,
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be,
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of Human suffering,
In the faith that looks through death
In years that bring philophic mind.
~William Wordsworth
