I pulled out all of my lights and set everything up. Now when the time comes she can go to school with a fist-full of wallet sized prints to trade with her friends.

When you have a free ticket the Newseum but only an hour of free time what’s a photojournalist to visit? The Pulitzer’s exhibit. I could have spent the whole day in there. Truly amazing.  They have interactive kiosks where you can get in depth and watch video interviews, read transcripts and look at images from the same sequence that the winning image or images came from.

Yesterday’s speakers at the POYi program were great. The most amazing however was Steve Liss. His essay on No Place for Children is unbelievable. Check it out here and here
