Shot this quick portrait of a piece of cheese cake in a dark restaurant. Using a 60 mm micro lens I quickly missed having my tripod along. All the shots were a bit blurry. I learned that a tall and sturdy water glass with a napkin over it makes a good camera stabilizer in a pinch.

It started at 5:30 a.m.

And ended at 1:30 a.m. the next day.

Columbia, Mo. – 10/30/08 – Sam Anand uses binoculars to try and see Barack Obama speak at a rally being held on the University of Missouri Mel Carnahan Quad. Anand said he saw John F. Kennedy 48 years ago when he spoke at the University of Wisconsin where Anand was a medical student.
