After a brief but poignant conversation with a friend about my personal work and showing her my Pulp series I have been pondering the age old question. Color or black and white? I started this project with black and white in mind. But the case was made that the fading colors in these images could give a unique quality. I, on the other hand, was looking for gritty and dirty so I thought black and white. So I was on the fence. I recently went back out and made some more pictures with color in mind.
