I had a wonderful time photographing Daylilly flowers and the man who grows then. He had the most unlikely name for somone who’s in to growing pretty flowers, Blaize.

A portrait of my dad for fathers day. I don’t shoot enough photos of my parents, especially of my father. I don’t know why but it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. But I really like this portrait of my dad and I wish I had more of them.

Spent memorial weekend at my in-laws farm in Iowa. It’s taken a long time for be to feel comfortable there. But each time we visit I feel more at home and I look forward to spending some peaceful time with the family and of course taking photos.
