The End. Another great #TrueFalse Film Festival filled with some really great documentaries, of which I saw 16. Lost of great music from the buskers. Interesting Q&A’s with directors. Good food, and good spirits. Most of all it was great running in to friends and meeting new ones while going from from film to film. True/False can’t be beat. #15secondfilm #video #instadoc #adobeclip #filmicpro
The best thing about #TrueFalse Day Three was the film The Music of Strangers. I came away from that film with a better appreciation of music and culture. And it brought tears to my eyes. Yeah, I’m a guy who cries at movies. Got a problem with that? #15secondfilm #instadoc #filmfest #adobeclip #video
My wife is part Danish and is also one fine cook. On special occasions, or when the mood strikes, she treats us to Aebleskiver. This traditional Danish dish could be better described as "Pancake Puffs". Anyway, today my wife made them as we celebrated Easter. #15SecondFilm #vlog #danish #food #cooking
Last night I met street musician Steven Embry. We talked for quite a while. He shared his story with me, about his loses, his homelessness, his passion for music. He said he's been working the bridges of the Las Vegas Strip for 10 years, sleeping during the day and playing all night. Here's a short snippet of a longer video I'll post on youtube soon. Let me know if you wan to see it. #video #videooftheday #videogram #videoinstagram #vlog #vlogger #videoblog #videodiary #vlogs #vlogging
I can still remember the creek of the door to my grandfathers workshop. He was long since passed. But I would still go in to his workshop when I visited grandmother during the summer. I'd find some wood, some tools, and some nails. I'd build. Usually I built a battle ship, or a tank. I was never good at it. Never pursued wood working or anything. Most likely this was something I did to stave off boredom. But now that I'm older and think back to it, that memory is so sweet. It was actually time spent with someone who wasn't there. So when my son says he wants to build something at my workbench. We build. Together. Even if it's for 5 minutes. #15secondfilm #video #videooftheday #videogram #videoinstagram #vlog #vlogger #videoblog #videodiary #vlogs
Visiting Powell's Used Books in Portland, Oregon and getting coffee my attention was quickly captured by a gentleman sitting at a table dancing with napkins and making flowers. Apparently he's a well known fixture to the scene. Arnold World is mostly known for making beautiful flowers out of napkins using Japanese paper folding techniques. But what captured my attention was watching him choose a song from his playlist and then doing a mesmerizing ballet with strips of torn napkins. Mr. World said he's been doing this for 12 years, "A hobby that turned in to a business," he says. #video #videooftheday #videogram #vlog #vlogger #videoblog #videodiary
Ok, I lied in the title. This one is 20 seconds. With that out of the way, this is a story about waiting. Specifically about a little brother waiting for his sister to come back from a trip. Sometimes as an adult I fail to remember that when you’re 7-years-old 30 minutes is an eternity.
