CURRENT PODCAST OBSESSION
This was the most difficult thing I’ve made recently. Not because it was hard, but because I didn’t want to make it. I don’t feel like making anything. It’s not even that good. Not even an original thing. I just needed to ship something. I’ve not felt like creating anything. But I read this quote from Seth Godin, “the reason that I’ve managed a modicum of success is that I just keep shipping.” The reason Godin is successful is because he ships. He ships a lot. Oh, he’s also failed a lot to because he ships a lot. That’s the way it is. You can’t be successful by just being successful. You are successful because you are willing to fail, and try again. “The price he happily pays for his successes if having a lot of failures along the way.” (Belsky, “Making Ideas Happen” pg. 83)
